Aashna Jain is the creator of Unpacked With Aashna, which explains the systems that power money, business and technology. She spent close to ten years building products at Wise, Paytm, JioCinema (Viacom18 Media) and, via Publicis Sapient, State Street, across India, Europe and the Gulf. She is based in Delhi.
A hundred and fifty words
Aashna Jain is the creator of Unpacked With Aashna, a media brand and advisory practice explaining the systems that power money, business and technology. She spent close to ten years building products across payments, fintech and media. At Wise she worked on global KYC and onboarding. At Paytm she led a ground-up UAE market entry across a $3B TPV ecosystem. At JioCinema, part of Viacom18 Media, she launched a subscription paywall from zero on a platform with more than 50 million monthly users. Earlier, via Publicis Sapient, she worked on onboarding and adoption for State Street. That work spans India, Europe and the Gulf, and has reached more than 20 million customers. She now writes and speaks about the same systems from the outside: a hundred plain-English explainers on how money moves, a fortnightly newsletter, and advisory work with teams building payments products. She is a published AI researcher and is based in Delhi.
